Digital Securities Dealing

Kimber facilitates the creation, distribution, and secondary trading of tokenized securities. Each digital security is a 1:1 representation of an underlying offchain asset, with transfer restrictions and compliance logic embedded at the smart contract level.

Tokenization Process

Kimber works with issuers to tokenize offchain securities into ERC-20 compliant digital tokens on the Plume L2 network. Each token represents a direct claim on the underlying asset held by a qualified third-party custodian.

  • ERC-20 tokens with embedded compliance hooks
  • 1:1 backing by custodied offchain assets
  • Support for 40 Act funds, corporate bonds, and ABS
  • Automated transfer restriction enforcement

40 Act Fund Vault Tokens

The Nest Protocol enables creation and redemption of 40 Act fund shares through stablecoin deposits. NAV-based pricing ensures investors receive fair value, with onchain settlement providing transparency and instant finality.

  • Stablecoin-denominated creation/redemption
  • NAV-based pricing with daily oracle updates
  • Automated dividend and yield distribution
  • Prospectus-compliant transfer restrictions

Yield Distribution

Onchain yield distribution delivers payments directly to token holder wallets. Smart contracts automate the calculation and distribution process, eliminating manual reconciliation for coupon payments, dividends, and fund distributions.

  • Automated pro-rata distribution to all holders
  • Support for fixed and variable rate instruments
  • Real-time distribution tracking and reporting
  • Tax lot accounting integration

Custody & Reconciliation

All underlying assets backing Plume digital securities are held by qualified third-party custodians per Rule 15c3-3(k)(2)(i). Daily reconciliation ensures token supply matches custodied assets.

  • Qualified third-party custody (Rule 15c3-3(k)(2)(i))
  • Daily automated reconciliation via oracle attestations
  • Proof-of-reserves reporting
  • Transfer agent integration for book-entry records
